Using our experience gained over 25 years and a wide range of know-how, we offer our clients tailored and cost-effective solutions.
The history of the DRP Group company dates back to the end of the nineties, last century when operating under the name Drewnex. It operated in the industry of metal waste trading and produced wooden pallets (hence its original name).
The next step was to expand the business to the processing of plastic waste. We used this time to gain extensive knowledge and experience in the field of materials science of polymers, their applications and processing methods. This move has set and dominated the current direction of our company’s development for the coming years. Thus, it became the first step towards building the position of the industry leader, which is today DRP GROUP.
In the meantime, the company has undergone many image changes, to finally take its final form with the name DRP Group in 2016. It was a breakthrough moment, from which we focused most of our attention directly on the processing industry, becoming a producer of modified plastics dedicated to this industry. Since then, we have been consistently increasing the level of our production and expanding our product and service offer. At present, we are able to produce in our production plant in Dąbrowa Górnicza (Śląskie Voivodeship, Poland) over 8,000 tons of ready-made polymer mixtures in the group of engineering plastics.

Establishment of Przedsiębiorstwo Produkcyjno-Handlowo-Usługowe “Drewnex” Jarosław Miśkiewicz dealing with metal waste trading and the production of wooden pallets.
1998
Establishment of the civil law partnership Przedsiębiorstwo Produkcyjno-Handlowo-Usługowe “Drewnex” s.c.
Employment increase up to 20 employees.
The first ton of plastic produced.
1999
Increased sales of plastics up to 2,000 tons per year.
2000
Purchase of land for a new site of the production plant – expansion of the plant.
Establishment of the regranulation department.
2001
The first ton of regranulate produced.

Extending the offer by regranulation services.
2003

2004
Implementation of the ISO 9001: 2008 standard in the field of recovery and recycling of plastics, the validity of which is confirmed by regular external audits.
Drewnex Recycling Plastics company has been awarded the “Business Fair Play” certificate.
2006
First participation as an exhibitor in the International Fair of Plastics Processing PLASTPOL.
2008
Increased sales up to 6,000 tons of specified technical regrinds of plastics, mainly for the needs of European compounders.
2010
Purchase of a gravimetric dosing station device (feeders), which allowed for a wider design of polymer composites.

Participation in the 3rd edition of the RubPlast Expo in Sosnowiec.
2011
Opening of a specialized laboratory facility aimed at regular quality control. The launch and further expansion of the laboratory was the first step towards a new area of the company’s operation, which is compounding, i.e. modification of plastics.
Establishment of the compounding department – a gradual change of the production profile.
Purchase of a new extruder gave possibility to granulate plastics with the maximum use of the entrusted material thanks to the minimization of transitions between production series.
Purchase of a crusher with a working shaft width of 800 mm, metal detector and a mill with a dust collector. The line capacity is 500 kg/h. The new investment made possible to double the processing of large-size elements and plastic scraps.
The offer of laboratory tests was extended by including tests for determining the mechanical properties of plastics under static stretching and a test for determining the impact tensile strength as well as a Charpy impact test and an Izod impact test.
Participation in the 10th edition of the IdentiPlast conference under the slogan “Retreat from depositing plastic waste by 2020 – many ways to achieve the goal”.
2012
Udział w X edycji konferencji IdentiPlast pod hasłem „Odwrót od składowania odpadów tworzyw sztucznych do roku 2020 – wiele sposobów na osiągnięcie celu”.
Firma Drewnex Recycling Plastics nagrodzona przez Fundację PlasticsEurope Polska oraz Targi Kielce za wieloletnie promowanie recyklingu jakościowego podczas Targów PLASTPOL.
2013
Agreement for the financing of the investment project entitled “Increasing the company’s competitiveness by changing the production process” signed, which included equipping the hall with a robotic stand for disassembling plastic elements.
Total project value: PLN 297,660.00
Co-financing value: PLN 145,200.00
The project is co-financed by the European Union from the European Regional Development Fund under the Regional Operational Program of the Śląskie Voivodeship for the years 2007-2013.
A new two-beam color spectrophotometer was purchased. The perfect accuracy of the Datacolor Check II device allowed for precise and reliable color measurement.
The offer of laboratory tests has been extended by testing the flammability class according to UL-94.
Drewnex Recycling Plastics company was awarded the Platinum Statuette “Fair Play Enterprise”.
Participation in the 2nd edition of RECY-PLAST workshops, the aim of which was to increase the level of plastic waste recycling in Poland, and participation in the RECY-PLAST 2013 workshops for the recycling industry under the slogan “Legal environment for the recycling industry – opportunities and barriers”.
2014
Agreement for the financing of the investment project entitled “Increase of the company’s competitiveness by expanding the scope of activities and changing the manufacturing process” signed.

Drewnex Recycling Plastics company was awarded the Diamond Statuette of the “Business Fair Play” and the title of the “Fair Play Ambassador in Business”.
Participation in the 20th edition of the PLASTECH Technical Symposium under the slogan “Criteria for optimizing the production of plastic products”. The meeting concerned the key stages of preparation and implementation of the production process that affect quality, efficiency, economy, energy consumption and environmental aspects
2015
A new OMI plastics product line was introduced.
2016
Transformation of the civil partnership Drewnex Recycling Plastics Przemysław Miśkiewicz i S-ka into the commercial company DRP Group Przemysław Miśkiewicz i Wspólnicy Sp. Public.
2017
New technological line for the modification of thermoplastics based on a twin-screw extruder for processing polyamide (reinfoerced) with glass fiber started.
The concept and philosophy based on lean manufacturing, which allows, inter alia, for efficient and flexible adaptation of production lines to the implementation of individual projects, optimization of operating costs, increased competitiveness and meeting ISO standards were implemented.
Agreement for the financing of the investment project entitled “A highly advanced technological line for the modification of thermoplastic plastics based on materials from the recycling of post-production waste from the automotive sector and the household appliances and E / E industries, intended for obtaining specialized mixtures with a wide range of properties and application applications in the form of recompounds and compounds“signed.

2019
Obtaining the ISO 9001: 2015 quality system certificate for the recovery and recycling of plastics as well as the design and production of plastic structural composites for the years 2019 – 2022.
The offer of the OMI Product Line was extended by 3 new products based on a polymer matrix of polyamide PA6, produced on the primary basis (virgin grade).
Participation in the XXIII International Fair of Plastics and Rubber Processing PLASTPOL in Kielce. We are constantly expanding our competences.
2022
Implementation of elements of the Environmental Management System compliant with the ISO 14001:2015 standard.
Joining the group of members of the Polish Automotive Group.
